  1. Yes we know, Mike should be fired. We would be a much better team without “Mike"
  2. And is just as irrational fan nonsense for Harbaugh as well. Fire the Manager or fire the coach. It is nonsense.
  3. Do you think if Bradish, Wells, Means, and Grod had made all or most of their starts since May they wouldn’t have 6 or more wins this year? On pace again to win over 100 games? Of course they would.
  4. I didn’t mean you particularly wanted him to go. There are a set of posters here that say he has to go etc constantly. So sorry if you thought that was meant for you. It isn’t his fault all the injuries the pitching has had. Yet he will enter tomorrow’s game 1 game out of first place and still one of the best records in baseball.
  5. Only with posters here at OH. Hyde isn’t going anywhere. It is just silly.
  6. They are making the playoffs. Yes as they are constructed today they are a 500 team. 500 the rest of the way gets you into the playoffs. If they can get Grod, Columbe, and Westberg healthy they canbe a tough out in the playoffs. Bullpen could have Dominguez, Suarez, and Kremer to help them.
  7. You have to love Ryan O'Hearn
  8. NO APPARENT REASON? They have lost 80% of their starting pitching from opening day. They have lost Jordan Westberg their All Star 3rd baseman. No I don’t see any apparent reason.
  9. I didn’t see a thread for him but so I started this. I had noticed that they have moved him to the bullpen. He seems to have had 4 consecutive successful relief appearances. I think everyone including myself has written him off but wondering if anyone here might think he might do better in this role.
  10. Dean seems to me to that mentally he just pitches better with some runs scored early for him. They scored a ton for him last year and he was real good the second half of the season. Hopefully we keep the offense going and he has a good last month or so.
  11. Holliday to Henderson for the double play. I hope to hear that for a long time.
  12. Just a horrible call. He picked the ball up behind the plate. The ump must of thought it was on the plate but it clearly wasn’t. Not reviewable though.
  13. I am not sure I have ever seen the pitcher sprinting to field a ball almost run head first into a runner coming up to first base.
  14. He picked it up behind the plate.
  15. I don’t know, I think “Crash” Davis was pretty stoked he set the minor league homerun record.
  16. I certainly think that Mike Elias/Sig are not beyond constructive criticism. Same thing with Brandon Hyde. Where it isn’t constructive is the definitive criticism’s that they are poor at what they do despite the results we have seen the last two years. It is just hard to read any posts that say or intimate either has to go. As far as Elias drafting philosophy until tt his point I think we should consider that I am sure it has been influenced by the limited budget he had to work with under Angelos. I can see the argument he didn’t really change much of that philosophy this past draft with Rubenstein as the owner and that is a fair statement. I do think it is fair to give them time to see how they make decisions this off season with more money to spend. He is working under very different circumstances than he has been since he took the job. Maybe they will sign Burnes or another big time pitching prospect to solidify the rotation for the immediate future. We need to see what he can turn keeping Holliday, Basallo, Mayo, and Kjersted this trade deadline into as far as pitching depth in the future.
  17. He is not bad and he isn’t going anywhere despite what a couple angry posters here on OH want. He is the reigning Manager of the Year and is in the top 3 to win it again.
  18. Well I am proud then to stand up for my low baseball IQ. He managed this team to the best record in baseball coming into today with 4 starters missing significant time. He has also managed this team to this record with his closer in a collapse the second half of the season. If you think any other manager would have a better record losing Bradish, Means, Wells, Columbe, GRod and allstar Jordan Westberg then you need a new gauge for your baseball IQ.
  19. That comment is too stupid even for the game thread.
  20. Yes Jackson Holliday is an automatic out. Hyde wrote every other lineup that has gotten the Orioles the best record in the AL through yesterday.
  21. The FOX announcers did the same joke several times last night.
  22. Maton is still there and playing in the outfield. Davis is playing 3b.
  23. He also started the game with 15 minutes notice and I am sure was on a lesser pitch count. This turn he was prepped as a starter.
