Good comp. He rakes - isn’t going to stick at SS. Kind of a small guy at 5’10”. High character guy with insane work ethic. Team leader. I’d be very happy with that pick. -

Zero. Opening day will be my first Os game. Can’t wait. IMO ST games are brutal unless you are watching them live and can interact with the players. -
And to think I have to watch non-competitive ST games with low energy for the next week+. Sigh. Opening day can’t get here soon enough - Dem Os gonna shock the world!!

what an incredible ending to an unbelievable tournament. Stoked for 2026. Players are going to be knocking down the door to get on these teams. Congrats to MLB for finally doing something right.

Here we go. MLB got their dream scenario. Trout v Ohtani 1 run game in 9th inning. Almost like it was scripted.

Hanging splitter….

The split finger , when it works, is unhittable & all those guys have it down to a science. All hits have come on hanging splitters. Have to hope for a mistake.

A ton of missed ball/strike calls. The umpiring has not been impressive.

Couldn’t find anything definitive in a quick Google search. I think there is also a pitch limitation they need to contend with. Looks like he’s going to get the 9th.

I believe he can transition to P, but if gets taken out he would be out of game. Unless they moved him to another position. I could be wrong. I think before the game they said the Ohtani rule is not in effect.

The split finger pitch is lethal. I always thought it was the most effective pitch in the game. Same arm speed and tunnel effect + crazy movement and speed change.
