  1. Motrin is a pain killer. Fentanyl is a pain killer. Should Fentanyl be sold OTC? Both are meant to alleviate pain right?
  2. Not in this case. I was going by what I have read and studies and first hand accounts indicate that they conveyed a similar level of competitive advantage. And honestly, if someone thinks Adderall and Red Bull are the same thing isn't it our duty to educate them?
  3. Red Bull isn't Adderall, that isn't a realistic comparison. Taking greenies isn't the same as taking caffeine and Taurine. Why don't they just tell kids with ADHD to drink coffee?
  4. So? It says 6-7 guys per pitching staff were using. The congressional study from 1973 agrees. Guys were using, they just weren't getting as large a result as guys using later.
  5. I love to bring this up every time someone starts spouting nonsense about how amphetamines aren't as bad as steroids. If they stop, I'll stop.
  6. Tom House would disagree with you. But what does he know? He was only there. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/1206857-ten-years-later-steroid-misconceptions-continue-to-be-reinforced
  7. And Hall of Famers have used steroids too. He cheated.
  8. And artificially boost their focus and reflexes. Baseball isn't just about strength.
  9. Right, guys you liked used amphetamines so it's OK. The bad guys used steroids so they aren't. Of course guys also used steroids back then but let's pretend they didn't.
  10. Amphetamines are classified as performing enhancing drugs.
  11. NBA not MLB but Adrian Dantley works as a crossing guard. One of the reasons is so he doesn't have to pay for health insurance.
  12. Wildcard quoted Weams, Weams didn't mention a substance. He just said PEDs.
  13. I'm pretty sure if a gritty underdog (Roberts, Wilkerson) or a fat man (Colon) uses PEDs it's OK.
  14. You might want to look into why. Maybe something to discuss with your therapists?
  15. You lost me at we all like each other.
  16. Mickey Rivers career wRC+ 106 Cedric Mullins career wRC+ 57
  17. It isn't that simple. I remember a player who had a child with a serious illness and they didn't have enough service time for the child to be covered so they were torn between paying a huge amount for insurance or hoping they could latch onto a ML team for enough games to get fully insured.
  18. One of these things is not like the others. One of these things is not the same.
  19. No not sure how it is very clear when the official stance of the team is that Elias has total control. Now do I believe it's ownership meddling? Yes, but it isn't very clear.
  20. Fourteen games, he counts.
  21. I'm not sure he barely missed. According to the piece he was the highest ranked Oriole that didn't make the list. That could put him at 101 or 150.
