With someone like McCoy I can see the drive turning into wanting to make the majors and get some of the big league pay and benefits. The ones I don't understand are the college guys that can't get out of short season ball. They signed for 10k, they are 24 years old and still playing short season ball.
Because MLB is worried about making this look good.
You suspend the analytics department you have to suspend the players.

I read a quote (and no I won't go hunt for it) that teams spent all of the money allotted to them, as a whole, to spend. Now might that actually mean that some teams left some negligible amount unspent? Perhaps.
He has been quoted as saying that, or nearly that, numerous times to include sites without a paywall.

I know what he said.
I also know that every dollar that they traded away got spent by teams that had a better 2018-2019 International signing period than the O's did.
Unless someone produces actual proof I'm not going to back off of this opinion.
