Simple, this is a rant you posted in Orioles Talk. Not sure why I didn't downvote the original, I must have been in a rare good mood.
We have a forum for rants, if you had posted this there I'd have been cool with it.
I know he failed multiple drug tests for drugs of abuse when he was in the minors. In fact it was rumored that the Rays put him on their 40 to put a halt to the tests.
There is a school of thought that says highly dominant pitchers in the minors can end up with elevated walk rates since opposing hitters know they are overmatched and won't swing.
Food poisoning is always a risk when eating out. How many times has Carol complained to the waitstaff? Cooks always make mistakes. We can't take the risk of illness out of dining out.
I'm in favor of getting things right.
So one challenge that they know will be unsuccessful? That seems like it would needless slow the game.
Honestly that sounds like a huge time sink, who would do the reviewing, the home plate ump who is probably zoning out by the second inning?
