  1. And the O's prospect list is extremely position player heavy. Assuming Grayson isn't available what pitcher can the O's offer that would really entice a team?
  2. But then you don't get him for the remainder of the seasons and someone you might be competing with in the playoffs does. Let's say he's worth 3 wins over in house options over the rest of the year. You add three wins to the Orioles' tally and you might get a divisional title. You certainly greatly increase the chances of hosting the WC series.
  3. I know he used to be a top 100 prospect. The poster I was responding to was offering up three current top 100 players, which Hall isn't.
  4. I think it was owner tampering. One of Boras' go to moves is to try and bypass the GM and take things to the owner.
  5. So not current, they specified current.
  6. Middle. Order. The. Hitter. Is my guess.
  7. Frankly it sounds like she deserves MVP more than you.
  8. Do you think all three of those will have six years in the majors?
  9. True, the Angels being the Angels they could be looking for ML talent to try again next season.
  10. I think at least one top 100 pitcher is going to be part of an Ohtani package if he gets traded.
  11. I don't think he is currently in much danger of that.
  12. I know Peter would have pushed hard to stay with the Yankees and Red Sox. Those guranteed ticket sales meant more to him than winning.
  13. I don't think you are, but in this instance I was being sarcastic. Of course fielding percentage isn't a very useful stat. Anyone that knows what WAR is knows that.
  14. I think that MLB doesn't have it's act together enough to speculate on what a 32 team league would look like.
  15. Trout? Who is talking about getting Trout? He's injured, extremely expensive and has no trade protection.
  16. Almost as if fielding percentage isn't a useful stat.
  17. You get an advantage sure but having the quality bats in the lineup is much more important than where they bat in the lineup. It's math. You can of course decide what your definition of "little impact" is.
  18. I'd be upset at myself for not pitching better.
