    Hmm on one hand I've got Interloper and on the other hand every single report or mention I've seen from paid professionals. No offense I'm going to hold off being concerned.

    I think all young pitchers should have a poor defense behind them. Incentives strike outs.

    I'm not freaking out. I'm expecting a pretty bad team again this year and bad defense is part of that.

    And? You can have stopgap players that are good defensively.

    I don't think you can look at this roster and say the GM is put it together with defense in mind. Well you can say it, but I don't think anyone will believe you.

    Hyde's boss doesn't seem concerned about defense.

    Didn't they have a downturn that coincided with the first exodus? With those leaving getting rings while the Rays don't have one?

    He's an excuse to keep gaming Adley's clock. That being said, Severino didn't look better on defense last year and Wynns hits like Davis.

    His contract isn't guaranteed so I agree if he doesn't have anything they won't take him along just to see if he somehow can limp through a season.

    Oh, I get it. I thought you meant you didn't see why he was rated higher than the rest of that group. I'll agree that Tillman didn't strike me as a top 20 in all of baseball prospect.

    Because his stuff projected to work the best at the major league level? They weren't wrong.

    So Ryan Ripken still has a shot? Makes sense, with Davis hurt they will be looking for someone to match his production.

    Adley certainly is, even if you only look at the glove and raw power.

    Yea, after he cooled off yet again after a hot start last year I gave up on him every being more than a fringe major leaguer.

    Oh I'm not suggesting he's good back there. I was just curious what happened since I'm reading stuff like Valaika flubbed it and Chance had four seconds to throw a guy out.
