Thank you. I was pretty annoyed that Hays decided to bunt there. Also although it isn't always accurate, the old adage says play for the tie at home and the lead on the road. Hays should be swinging away there against the lefty Hand, who is pitching his third straight game. It really isn't debatable.

The team stinks because they have a lot of players who stink. Nothing Hyde does or doesn't do has a great effect on that.

I know he isn't popular around here, but Jim Hunter was very good at this. Jim was good at a lot of those types of things, he was just a big homer.

Agreed. I've been very impressed by the infield bats on the farm thus far, and would like to see them get challenged more. I think June 1-15 area is a good timeframe to get them up (a month of ABs where they started). Really really excited for Gunnar at Aberdeen.

I agree with all of these., though obviously the sample sizes are small for everyone. I'm very high on Vavra, and if he keeps this up I'd rather see him at second over Jones/Bannon as the first call up. Of course, I'd rather see Jones/Bannon than whatever it is they have at second now.
