I think he goes the cheap route again in terms of prospect cost and goes back to Oakland and try for Paul Blackburn or JP Sears and claims we can "fix" them
That still doesn't change the fact that Povich has done squat since he got here. Johnson is 24 years old coming off major injury and has barley picthed above AA. Elias is not some saint that is going to hit on everybody.
If there is one thing the team needs to do to the offense, its get rid of the whole "B"/Sunday Lineup. This can be eliminated by ditching guys like Mateo and Urias .
However I am sure they will still have those 3 week stretches where they only score 2 runs a game because there is no real power bat in the lineup
I think people are missing the left handed vet infielder that we have yet to sign. Right now the only guaranteed roster spot of a lefty is Gunnar, you know we can't have that .....
He throws hard, thats all the FO ever cares about, they don't care how much he sucks
In all seriousness probably depth move, no big deal as long as they don't claim some BS like "we got our starter now"
That translates to better than John Means, but in reality we will get Wacha or trade for Paul Blackburn, or most likely a waiver claim and another infielder
They made it clear when they did nothing at the trade deadline that their plan is to waste opportunities and hope they catch lightning in a bottle and luck their way into the world series
We have seen this before, also funny it comes out after a leaked rumor of ownership changes
I also read "pending needed approvals" at the bottom as "pending physical"
Oh no the Blue Jays won't afford anyone in 6 years once the O's window is closed again.
Its never awesome when a division rival signs one of the best players in baseball. It wasn't great having Judge back last year and it won't be great having Ohtani with the Jays this year. Stop with this BS that they CaN'T AfFOrD AnYoNE ElSe. No they can and will, not every team has a crapy owner like the Orioles
