Tied the Braves today for the most wins in MLB! (though we've played three more games)

I work with some Braves fans who made a huge deal out of Spencer Strider setting a 130 year old record by becoming the fastest guy to reach 100 strikeouts in a season earlier this year - in just 61 innings. Cowser can play CF and Kjerstad RF. I know Cowser hasn't been all that impressive yet in CF but his track record in the minors says he can play CF.

McKenna or Kjerstad? I know Elias likes to see his guys get at least 200 at bats at each level and Kjerstad only has 125 but that should be enough when you're hitting .344 and OPSing over 1.000!

Not sure if you misunderstood me or not. When I said I'd like to see Palmer make an appearance here tomorrow I wasn't talking about him being in the booth. I was talking about his picture being in this thread which would mean that his number 22 would be another high water mark indicating a sweep of the Marlins.

I don't believe Adley got better pitches to hit than Robert got. Three pitches to Adley were so far out of the zone that he didn't even swing. Robert didn't get any pitches so far out of the zone that he didn't even swing. But I didn't want to post that on a public board because it will look like I'm criticizing his father when I'm not. The point I was trying to make is that Adley more than held his own against the number one seed and the only way the number one seed defeated him is that he got more swings.

I'm sure the father experience was more important to each than winning but it would have been nice to see Adley advance.

If it's any consolation, it took Robert 12 more swings to hit one more home run than Adley. His pitcher was much quicker.

Yes, we first hit 19 games over on June 27 so I've been waiting ever since then to see Frank make an appearance on this thread. We'll have to wait at least a few more days now that the all-star break is upon us.
