I think if we trade Stowers now, we'd be selling low and not get as valuable a return.... I'd love to see him get one prolonged look in the Majors. If he mashes, we can keep him or flip him for a better return.... (of course that could backfire and he could struggle, reinforce the Quad A label and get less in return...)

The problem is the off the field baggage. As a pitcher he'd be a terrific get for us. In his prime at 27, lefty with established track record. He went 20-3 with a 2.96 ERA just 3 years ago. Might be able to get him more cheaply than others... but the domestic violence issue could blow up in our face....

My not quite untouchable list: Cowser, Ortiz, Norby, Westburg My prefer to trade list: Urias, Stowers, Beavers, Fabian I know demand for the last group is pretty minimal but I'd hope to package 1-2 of those guys in with 1-2 of the second list...

Bo Jackson had the best throwing arm from the outfield that I have ever seen in my life. It was otherworldly... As for the O's, I can't really recall anyone with a cannon... Paul Blair had a great arm but I think accuracy was better than strength. Markakis had a pretty good arm as well...

The "Stuff" looks decent. Arm seems live enough. Good movement on some of those pitches. Looks like control/command was an issue > 6 BB/9 IP. I wonder why he's choosing pitching over hitting? Seemed to be a very good hitter...

A good throw holds him to 2nd base. The lousy throw (the airmail soft lob toss) cost them 3rd base- can't you argue the extra base resulted from the poor throw and award an error on the throw? I'm happy he got a triple, but I'd score it a double and E on the throw....
