It looks like Arthur Rhodes, Benitez, and Pennington did. ?. Don’t have the 40 man, but assume they were on it all season.

Totally agree. It kind of made sense to see if he and Susler could improve last season, but now they need to let the other guys fight it out.

Maybe the rest of the team could have asked Surhoff things like, “How are you able to hit .300 when you are 39?” Or “How do you have a .350 OBP when you are 39 and don’t hit for power anymore?”

I was really impressed with Surhoff’s hitting skills his last few years. He was a tough out and was almost 40.

Iglesias, Sanchez, Valaika, Martin and whoever ends up at 1B feels like a better all around infield than last season. I assume Bannon and Urias will get a chance as well. Tavara is close too.

People from DC drove to Baltimore for a long time. I would have assumed people from Tampa would drive to St. Pete but they don’t. They do watch the games on TV though. Ratings are good.

If you go somewhere for a lesson, this is included. The place Elias went for pitching lessons in high school does it, zero chance he isn’t aware.

Any decent baseball training facility has data. Even Little League kids are given things like launch angle and exit velocity. It just isn’t info that we can get. So not completely blind.

The Orioles already have two young catchers who hit fine with questionable defense. Both are cheap. I’d give Sanchez a pass.

I’d love to see some MLB team fund an indie league team, like when some NFL teams used Arena teams as a farm team for couple of years before they made it illegal.

The back end of the list expanded a lot over the season. Headed in the right direction, very encouraging. -
I think giving up the largest metro area in VA would be a mistake long term.
