Just came here to say how much it sucks that we didn’t get to see him this Spring and now won’t see him in Baltimore until June at the Earliest I think. Would it shock anyone if we ended up not seeing him til after the AS break? I could see this injury lingering.

I hear you, but if the reports that came out earlier this month calling Jones the best prospect since Harper are true, there IS a generational prospect. He’s committed to Vandy though and my guess is that Brooks Lee would be an underslot. I would be dissatisfied.

I’ve got a feeling it’s Gonna be Lee and I’m gonna be disappointed.

I don’t think he’ll get more money than that from anyone. I have read that Boras wants him to take a 1 year deal and test the market again next year, so there’s that. But 30 mill a year over 10 years is quite a ballsy offer to pass up. Which also leads me to the conclusion that it never was offered.

That’s a big contract. As excited as I’d be, I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be a great idea. Also, if all of that that is true, I’m not sure why he wouldn’t sign it.

I don’t think your Mullins for Meyer and Lopez deal idea gets any traction until (if) Cedric plays as well or almost as well the first two months of this season as he did last. I’d love to get DeJong. What do you think that would take? Not that much I’d assume.

Not sure he’ll have to tone it down, he looks very still and controlled/balanced during it. Some players are successful with it. Acuna comes to mind, and Termarr’s swing reminds me of a LH Acuna a bit.
