Yusniel Diaz, who had been out since mid April with a hamstring issue, was activated today and transferred to Frederick. Probably due to his long layoff, expect him to get some at bats and play for a week or two and be back in Bowie.
He was sent down to Frederick once he was deemed "healthy" after Extended Spring Training games. He is not on a "rehab" assignment for Norfolk or anything.
They are probably progressing him and since you don't use an option or anything when going between the minors, this was the best way.
Stewart is NOT in the Norfolk line up tonight. Nothing confirmed, but the Orioles need a position player and have already optioned Evan Phillips.
Let the countdown begin until Roch posts his "there is a locker set up here."
He was impressive, got hurt, declined a bit, got hurt, put up the same stats as DJ Stewart and got passed over.
Would people rather have Mancini, Wilkerson, or Yaz in the outfield?
