  1. 4 innings, 6 k's, 0 walks, only 2 hits (neither were extra base hits.)
  2. Well, Sisco DID get married this past off season. Maybe he really was worried if the team would get him candlesticks or a place setting.
  3. No need to check. They have, by far. Early in the season, they were losing a lot of close (1-3) run games. Pitching has kept them in but their hitting was awful. They really picked up since McCoy came up and Diaz came back from his injury and then the paternity leave. McKenna has started swinging the bat well, Palmiero finally seems to be adjusting, Nichting is doing Nichting things, and Bannon is hitting (even if his power hasn't quite developed yet.)
  4. He must of seen the news about the Astros designating AJ Reed...
  5. He just pitched yesterday too. Horrible. Never want to see anything like this on a timeline, ever.
  6. When it comes to these decisions this season, have you heard if Hyde and Elias work together on the 40/25 man rosters? Say Hyde wants a certain player (where team control isn't a concern), with Elias generally go with it?
  7. I just noticed how late it breaks. Wynns reaches out for it to catch it and that is when it runs back arm side. That is the type of action that would start off at the end of the bat and end up shattering the bat at the hands.
  8. Nah, just shows that you are paying attention this season.
  9. He definitely added more power. Whether from the weight room or the swing change he made, it helped him out.
  10. Opposite field too. Didn't see that a lot in Norfolk before.
  11. With the way the Orioles bullpen has been, even 13-0 in the 9th is still a "grind it out, close baseball game."
  12. It was a clean shot, but I'm standing by my point: Sisco has been up a little under a month and has done well in limited time. If he sustains his new found abilities, fine. Remember, Nunez has looked brilliant too for a while, then looked like Davis. Severino is getting consistent time and making the best of it. Could this be a breakout year for him? Yeah. Could it be a career year and next season, he goes back to hitting like "Washington Nationals Pedro Severino?" Yep. I just want to see consistency. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some "#Zoellner4AllStar" stickers to finish printing for @Can_of_corn
  13. Let's see if this is just more than a "hot month" for Sisco and a "career year" for Severino first before calling them "serviceable" and having to decide their fate.
  14. Davis needs to eat whatever Sisco is having.
  15. I feel like everyone in Delmarva is someone to watch.
  16. I fully get being skeptical. But the poster was pretty much saying "Sisco had better minor league numbers, so he needs to start instead." Which is just stupid to me, unless/until Severino gets traded or falls totally flat. I'll take "anyone that pitched" for $100. Though Cobb did seem to get better with each start with Wynns (including the complete game in Cleveland.)
  17. What does what he did in the minors have to do with how they are currently producing in the majors?
