I had no clue who Adley’s backup was. I figured it would be Cody Roberts, who was a college draft pick a few seasons ago. That, or they should have kept Daniel Fajardo... But looking at Chris Huggins, he was a 2017 pick by the Royals and the Orioles plucked him in the 2020 Rule 5 pick for the Minor Leagues. Ok bat, don’t know much about his defense, but it was noted he has a good defensive ability, which is why he was picked up. I know no one will really care when he plays, but it’s always intriguing to see who is behind the prospect.

With all the prospects in the system (instead of just 30 names to fill out the list), sometimes other players get lost in the shuffle and the moves aren’t always known. I’ll update this thread with roster moves as soon as possible. I’m sure @cboemmeljr will have more news at times and better scoops! Unfortunately, let’s start with some releases at the end of camp: 4/30 T.J. Nichting and Zach Muckenhirn were released

They did mention that about 60 players are still in Extended Spring Training. I would imagine Baumann is building up there. I didn’t see Nick Cuiffo anywhere. Don’t know if he is released/opted out or in Florida still too.

Seems like it. The Orioles haven’t put out much info on any MiLB moves, unlike other teams. Roch said in his blog this morning that they won’t even release their rosters until Opening Night.

He was shifted, but not a huge amount. He also jogged towards it, as if he either was gonna let Sevie take it or have it be foul.

Franco should have taken that. Great defensive play by Severino (I know, that was weird to even type...) but the 3rd baseman should take it.
