  1. They claim you can still catch it with contact less delivery items. I read a new study, that said droplets can carry 20 feet in the outdoors, given the wind and other conditions.
  2. Putting the mound height back to where it was back in the late 60s?
  3. Good money while sitting in the clubhouse playing cards. Does this make him a professional card player? :):):)
  4. Price also have a ton of wear on his arm, and resting for a year, could be beneficial to him.
  5. I believe he capped it at 10K per person, allows them to legally skip taxes on it. I was told the threshold was changed recently to 15K per year, at least thats my tax man told me last month.
  6. When you have 3 SPs with 2.8 or higher WAR, that will go along way to get you into the Post Season. Sure, the Jays had big bats, but if you keep the bad guys from scoring more than you do, you usually win. He wasnt the only arm on the team, but he had a role in their success.
  7. I remember when he made it, and at the time, it caused a pretty good ruckus, and we didnt have social media. Personally, while offensive, its funny as well. But, I cant condone it. Personally, I think no reporter should be in the locker room, until after the players shower, change and then can visit an interview room outside the locker room.
  8. His WAR disputes your assessment that he was league average. 2.8 WAR is not league average.
  9. I believe there is evidence that there was bad faith bargaining on both sides of this disagreement.
  10. I think Morris was something like very good in 3 out of 4 WS, so I will give him a pass on his last Post season. Not like he is Kershaw and sucks in every single post season.
  11. Going 21-6 at the age of 37, surely does help your team get into the playoffs. I wonder if at 37, his arm was a bit worn out by the post season that year.
  12. I said he has a reputation. He also got the $$$$, based on his rep and success in the post season.
  13. Which is why I dislike the HOF process. Sport Writers, some of which are incredible arses, having the power to keep people in or out. Some of which know less about baseball than OH trolls. Sometimes voting no, just so it would not be 100%
  14. It helped Morris, that he had a reputation for a lethal arm in post season.
  15. My wife has too, and she said she was mildly surprised that they were a bit better than she had expected from the can. Must have been that Old Bay.
  16. One of those places that has been around forever, its off the beaten path, with 100 getting punched through the area.
  17. We were in NC last summer and the wife had crab cakes, and never again, she said, will she order crab cakes outside of Maryland/Delaware. lol
  18. Sounds like my family, we get a bushel and after eating crabs, the leftovers get picked for crab cakes and dip.
  19. as does Timbuktu. Trust me, my wife is extremely picky. She loves a very good crab cake, and dislikes any remotely less than good.
  20. My wife is partial to G&M. She did get a really good one at Dempseys a few years ago, when we stopped in there before a game.
  21. Yes he did, and most of his relief appearances was multiple innings. It was the time, they started calling them, "firemen" for putting out the fire, and rolaids was into it. lol
  22. Im old as dirt and never had a crab or crab cake. Then again I am allergic. LOL
  23. I would normally agree. Not like we have real baseball to discuss. Amazing how easy it is to play monday morning quarterback and said, well, we should have done.
