He was specifically referring to the Gary Sanchez homer on Friday night. He noticed that Sanchez was late on a fastball on the previous pitch, but then on the next pitch (high fastball) hit it as if he knew what was coming. I don't know if there's any merit to his statement, but it was interesting that he said that.

Looks like the worst of the storms & heavy rain have passed Baltimore. They've already waited 3 hours so I expect that they'll play at some point tonight. If they were going to postpone it, I think they would have already done that a long time ago.

Yes, that could work. The Royals have a 2 hour 45 minute flight to KC after the game, so starting that late shouldn't interfere with that.

No, the visit from the catcher doesn't count for the rule that says you must change pitchers after 2 visits. It does count for the overall mound visit allotment of 4 per game, though.
