Gausman pitches well, but gives up the two run homer to Plouffe which was an awful pitch and cost himself a chance at a win. The Twins pitched well in this game until Jepsen came in looking pretty bad and ended up giving up the game winning runs to Jones though the ball should have been caught in left field, so it's not all on Jepsen. The Orioles get the win as they should and will look for the series win tomorrow afternoon. Jones looked good for perhaps the first time this season and I'm starting to believe he might really be alright now with the injuries.

So, Wilson and Hughes. Obviously, this doesn't look good for Hughes who has been pretty awful over his last two starts while Wilson has been doing alright and has thrown three shutout innings against this Twins team already this year, but that's it and he will pitch at Discount Retailer Field for the first time here.

In the division, Boston is keeping up as they have won three in a row as well and remain tied for the lead with the Orioles with the Jays and Rays 3.5 back. Toronto is currently leading the Giants 1-0 in the bottom of the sixth and the Rays are trailing the M's 6-2 heading into the top of the sixth. In the central, the White Sox are running away with the division as they have a 5.5 game lead over the Indians and currently lead the Rangers 10-5 in the bottom of the sixth. Only the Cubs have a better record than the White Sox.

Yes.

And Because he is the leader of the club and he is healthy. And he deserves it. And it does not matter. People who want to drop him are simply thinking it would motivate him. He is not done. He is not close to done. He is a great player. Who is now healthy and is starting to get his timing.
