  1. I could have but it's still only the 3rd week of the season. The K rate is alarming though especially for a guy who should have in theory been ready to start the year in AA. I didn't move Mayo down because he's hit into some bad luck times this year, but he needs to turn it on a bit soon.
  2. Exactly. These dead ball s are helping everyone. Hopefully when the weather warms the offense will as well. Or maybe MLB will stop messing with the ball and let it go back to what it was last year! Mullins will be fine.
  3. Yep, this is the rotation I see that makes the most sense but it's each of them on the bench every 6th game, not 5. And as you pointed out, it puts a pretty good hitter on the bench for pinch hitting duties. When Stowers and eventually Rutschman come up, it should make the offense better overall. Replace Owings with Martin and you now have some speed on the bench as well as an adequate defender around the infield to include SS.
  4. Unfortunately for the next two weeks they will be home so we get the Cal Ripken Jr. bluelight special Ironbirds broadcast so we're not going to get anything there.
  5. Martin ambushed that first pitch fastball. I'm assuming the AAA parks are not using the humidor and the balls are travelling a normal distance.
  6. I agree that we don't know for sure, but we have to hope it's some kind of swing and approach thing because if not, then there are major red flags for a guy who came out of a small college program who is striking out at his rate in High A-ball.
  7. Urias? Why do we need a 3rd player who can play SS? Owings doesn't appear to really bring anything to the roster other than positional flexibility and even then, he hasn't shown to be good at any of them. Martin at least brings speed and is a better defender at SS.
  8. Updated as of today, April 25th. Went ahead and moved some top 10 guys. It's a power ranking, so I decided no need to not move guys. They can always get their rankings back with better performance.
  9. That's a good sign. To me that's the last check off, holding stuff up to 90-100 pitches.
  10. It's too early to panic, but the early results this year for the Orioles ability to take a guy who can hit line drives for average and turn that into power is not looking good so far.
  11. That has not been proven wrong yet, so I probably would not use that as an example.
  12. At least he's playing at night under the lights for a bit.
  13. Easier competition to get their feet wet again.
  14. Let's check in with Ron Long to.. **click**
  15. I would have walked him, but at least he only singled.
  16. I'd walk him unless it walked in a run!
  17. If Stweart was out there the ball would have been rolling to the fence.
  18. Not sure why Perez was not warmed up for Wade.
  19. Can't have a .550 OPS and drop flyballs in teh 8th inning.
  20. Well that's just awful. Mckenna doesn't need to be in the major leagues if he can't catch that ball.
  21. I have gone to a different level this year!
