Looking through his game logs, he isn't a measurable improvement over most of our current starters. Has gone 6.1 innings twice in 22 starts, many less than 6. a few really good games, a few bad ones, mostly meh.
She'll see this tweet (yeah right) and giggle.... think to herself hmm... Orioles? Looks up the standings.. and badda boom badda bing he's our series MVP.. lol
In the past when we saw "interests" posted by various sites we always considered this was a potential propaganda move to drive the price down on who we really want. This doesn't seem to be a consideration anymore.
Is there another 1B we'd consider that is <=> Goldschmidt's production at a lesser price tag? I think we have our 2b 3b SS of the future already here, where else can we upgrade our offense?
Yeah... I was thinking we may entertain bringing on Goldschmidt who has another year until Mayo is ready and use our 1b resources to get some pitching.. but that would break up the clubhouse somewhat, how important do you think Elias considers that?
I think the sane reason Mounty was put back into the lineup immediately after his horrible AAA rehab... to build value before the trade deadline. Or at least to know if they can produce before trading away other pieces. As you said, otherwise it make no sense.
