  1. FWIW Norby is playing LF tonight. Looks like he has logged 8 games out there in his MiLB career.
  2. I highly recommend people Re-read this thread. It’s hilarious.
  3. Don’t think you are allowed to give monetary compensation for awards anymore.
  4. Just struck out Stanton for the second time tonight. Pretty cool experience for the young man. Putting together a decent game so far.
  5. Followed it up with a 3b. Laser to lcf that cf dove & missed. My wife, who is amazing and a great mother, just asked me if we should nickname him Drilling Beavers.
  6. Laser up middle on a 1-2 count for a single in first AB. Kid looks like he has and idea how to hit.
  7. Solid AA debut. 5ip 3h 2r 6k 2bb on 47/79. If you haven't seen this guy pitch yet, he's a tall lefty and really hides the ball well. Didn't have his best control and fell behind a lot of batters, but had some pretty nasty stuff the guys were having trouble squaring up.
  8. I don't think so. He likely starts there next year. Delmarva season is over on 9/11 so not a lot of time remaining anyways.
  9. Nice to see Jackson off to a great start. I can't wait to see him play. What a beautiful swing.
  10. He looks like he’s throwing a whiffle ball. Crazy movement.
  11. It’s clear at this point that ME reads OH and is simply trolling all of us at this point. With that said, watch them put up 5+ runs y to o day.
  12. Dang, 7 for Kremer. Did not see that coming. Good for him, hope he can build on that and keep getting better.
  13. Go figure, OPS over .500 AND is able to throw out base runners. Still time for him to regress, I suppose.
  14. From Matt Kremnitzer “Despite about 300 fewer plate appearances, Ryan McKenna is now tied with Austin Hays in fWAR (1.3). They're tied for 6th among O's position players” Fairly eye opening stat/observation. Have to admit I’ve been bearish on his swing and ability to hit velocity. Wonder if he has another gear.
  15. On base machine. Same game he had in Norfolk. I didn’t know if it would continue, exciting that is has. Now if he can just avoid his injury bug, we might be able to get really excited about him.
  16. Maybe he thought he wouldn’t be looking for it there ?
  17. Does he have to be on the team by 8/31 to qualify for the post season roster?
  18. I think there is a pattern emerging. He hit a ton of groundballs in Delmarva, I have to imagine they are working on some pretty significant swing changes.
  19. I love the guy and am a huge fan. I think he will be great. There is just something going on that he hasn’t quite figured out yet. I’d think small doses of success v. Throw him out there would be a better approach, but I’ll defer to the Pros.
  20. Agree on your last point. I think situations matter. Walking off field on a high note is more teachable than the low note IMO.
  21. Are you putting him back out there for another start to learn more at the ML level?
  22. It’s throwing a baseball. He does it well until he doesn’t. He does it well like 49% of the time. Pitching on the big stage is scary. For someone who isn’t a strike thrower, the big stage can get scarier. I believe in putting people on positions where they can succeed and then build on success. DL will be good but don’t like him as a SP right now.
