  1. Enables them to limit service time.
  2. Sounds like the Angels the last few years...
  3. Different sport but here we go! That night, Porter played just four minutes before leaving the game due to what the Raptors said was a re-aggravation of an eye injury he'd suffered four days earlier in a game against the Memphis Grizzlies. He did not score in the game against the Clippers, had three rebounds and one assist, and did not attempt a 3, meaning the under hit on all of the props. The next day, as part of a daily report to users on betting results, DraftKings Sportsbook reported that the under on Porter's 3-pointers was the biggest money winner for bettors of any NBA player props from games that evening.
  4. I expect it to go up, but not greatly. I think it's going to hover around 20th, with some fluctuations.
  5. Very possibly? How often does it come out that musician X, athlete Y or actor Z got cleaned out by their agent or a relative?
  6. The first story to come out was that Ohtani did give him the money. Either way no one outside of Gurgi seems to think Ohtani himself bet or that betting on baseball occurred.
  7. No one has said anything about any betting on Baseball. That's the one thing you can't do. Betting on Football (soccer) is a different can of worms.
  8. On National Manatee Appreciation day?
  9. I don't think that's right. I think they date you are thinking of is the rule 4 draft date. Oh sorry, I got confused. I saw Snell get mentioned and it sidetracked me. Right, makes sense, sorry again. I thought the conversation was about not having to pay the draft pick compensation for signing a QO player. Snell had a QO this offseason so he can't get one again next year anyway.
  10. Yep, 7 games. But they also outperformed their expected offense.
  11. Unsurprisingly you misinterpreted what I said before. Unfortunately you are quoted so often that putting you on /ignore wouldn't accomplish anything.
  12. How exactly has Nevin earned anything? His mediocre at best glove, lack of speed and career ML OPS+ of 74? I say good on him for advocating for himself. He's not ripping the organization. Not that it means much but Norby even has a higher MiL OPS than Nevin.
  13. If you think that saying something is silly is the equivalent of questioning someone's manhood you might want to self reflect a bit.
  14. Ahh, here is the silliness. Was wondering when it would show up. Yea, yea, by saying trade him to someone that would give him a shot I am totally saying we should make sure they guarantee his spot all year and accept whatever in return.
  15. Yes there is. I'm going to keep saying it because it's still the truth. The 2023 team: Exceeded their Pythagorean by a substantial amount. They scored more runs than would be expected given how their overall offensive numbers. Neither of those things are particularly repeatable. if the 2023 team had performed as expected in those areas they would not have won 101 games, they would not have won the AL East. They might not have made the playoffs. I think it's foolish to go into the 2024 season acting like a spot in the playoffs is a given. Is this team, on paper, better than the 2023 Mets and Padres?
  16. Why didn't they do it last year? The O's had Ortiz, Holliday and Westburg in front of him.
  17. My guess is that either of them would be happy enough with a bench role on a ML team.
