I had more faith in Britton in 2016 than I do with Felix.
Not to diminish him in any way but if Britton's 2016 isn't worth a top 10 finish I don't see Felix getting much traction for even a top 5 finish.
I think they went over the allotment but ended up spending less than their initial pool.
I don't think they've gone over and signed everyone in the top 10 rounds in the same year.
He's a below average bat that is slow and poor defensively.

Seriously we should not be targeting the type of player that would be worried about getting cut if they struggle for a month.
Something like that shouldn't even enter the equation going forward.
Because guys don't normally develop platoon splits this late into their career so it's probably not a sustainable phenomenon.
But I'm sure you know that.
