Not saying you posted anything that was incorrect but you were painting the numbers in a negative light.

He's got a career ERA of 4.04 an ERA+ of 111 and a FIP of 3.84.
I think the fact that he was traded away nearly a decade ago by a different front office is a non-factor.
But isn't part of the plan to build up an excess inventory and trade for what you need?
They have more position players ready for the majors than they have places to put them.
