I can’t stand alternate uniforms in general. This one because it is a marketing scheme for Nike to make money, but even the well intentioned ones like pink hats for Mothers’ Day or anything else that looks stupid. About the only time I’m ok with it are throwbacks or the league wide #42 for Jackie Robinson.

I took a light run yesterday with no issues. My wife went with me who has asthma. No problems. If anything it felt good without the oppressive heat. Not saying whether they should play or not play tonight, but the conditions don’t effect everyone even though they are less than ideal for sure. The problem is there is no wind and the air is stagnant.

I sat next to Suzi Quatro once. Pretty much the same thing.

All I saw last night was a broadcast from the splash zone with some game footage in between. The broadcast was all about their reporter getting soaked and interviewing fans. Several plays were cut to at the last second and way too much focus on the Apple TV reporter trying to talk to fans in between pitches.

Anecdotal observation from Perry Hall, MD. I could definitely smell smoke this morning at 8am and it was very hazy. As of 1:30pm it is pretty nice out. Typical day that I wouldn't be concerned over taking a run or a bike ride.

Some of us "old" folks still are interested in that statistic.

No I’d give most embarassing to the “bird bath” and how the MASN broadcast feels the need to cut to it or talk about it every two minutes.

I'm not a fan of specialized alternate uniforms in general except for throwbacks. Really they are just another thing to sell to fans who are completists. I think some of the proceeds go to charity which is the only good thing about any of that kind of thing. "City connect" uniforms included.

I was depressed when he was mentioned last night. Only because I'm old enough that I saw him pitch in person at Memorial Stadium.

I didn't become a parent until age 36. Wow was I in for a shock. Figured as my kid got older the Mrs. and I would have plenty of alone time as our daughter got older and hung out with her friends. Nope, she was usually home and chatting with her friends on the cell phone or on the computer. As for playing outside sports wise, you don't see pick up games much of any sort. All organized play - that of course we have to pay for.

We didn't have social media, cell phones and kids played outside. Those would be the positives from looking back.

The overlap will be the game letting out with people going to the concert arriving.

Springsteen is also also Friday at the arena. Downtown traffic and parking should be fun.

I get MLB.tv through T-mobile every year it seems for free. I have a laptop hooked up to my big screen TV and just login and watch any game I want.

I didn't have a problem with much of what he said. Not a fan of the Angelos family and not all the answers. At least finally he gave an extended interview.

I can understand people wanting to move Hays but we have a young squad and cheap talent. I hate moving pieces just to move them. Hays probably is more valuable to the Orioles than anything they'd get in return for him.
