The Orioles should be putting an absolute premium on left handed hitters in the lineup from now on. Play to your home park a little. I don't post much but I've stated that I love the new wall. All these jacked up hitters for years hitting flyballs that had no business being HR's. I'd rather see more balls in play. Want a HR? Earn it.

No one knew at the time how the Ubaldo signing would turn out. It didn't work mostly. By all accounts he was a good guy and a good teammate from everything I read. Sometimes things don't go as expected.

It is sad we are talking about so many AAAA and mediocre ballplayers to bring back for this "anniversary". To me, Adam Jones and Melvin Mora should be invited. Most of the rest = meh. Delmon Young would probably get a good ovation I think. Too soon for Davis. Let him count his money.

I don't have any particular nostalgia for the 30th anniversary at Camden Yards. I love the ballpark, but until the Orioles win a championship there it is just a very nice building. My primary Orioles memories are all still from Memorial Stadium. Keep in mind I am almost 54 years old and I understand how younger people may feel more fond of Oriole Park than I do. Until they win, 30 years at Oriole Park is a yawn to me. Hopefully they make some REAL memories at the Yard soon. I was almost embarrassed when they celebrated a division championship with a ceremony there.
