Foxfield is pretty much on target with his lip reading on it. I remember it as it happened (as did my wife as she pointed out today) and I backed it up and videotaped the TV screen and made a gif out of it. But it was easier for me to look some up that were done better than mine. It's up there with Complacent Reynolds for me and this gif I made of Manny towing in some teammates into the dugout after scoring some runs.

I've always liked his attitude. I wish him well.

I concur. I've done this for the NCAA hoops tourney. And all for the price of maybe two beers and two hotdogs. A bargain.

I find those fascinating. I didn't grow up with any antennas and was jealous of my friends who did the pre cable days! I had to go to my grandmas to see NBC coverage of those 1969 - 1971 World Series and even then it was kind of grainy. I was up in our attic awhile back and noticed the previous owners had an antenna (from maybe the 80s) up there near the eaves. Been thinking about making use of it, but I have no clue how to go about it. I imagine it may be way better than that antenna device that I have to move several feet in different directions to get needed HDTV over the air clearly. I do have bounced back between Sling and YouTube TV in recent years and decided to stick with the latter. But there's one TV in our music room I wouldn't mind having better over the air reception.

I'm so overjoyed that it's a 1pm start on Saturday. This way, our family rock combo (we're on the road) can see the game in a Winston-Salem sports pub or restaurant across the street from the gig and it ends in time for us to load in and soundcheck with no rush. And if that's a 6pm start as mentioned above, we dodge another bullet due to a 2pm gig Sunday.

I chatted with a friend of mine this week who saw 45 games in Durham this year (The Bulls). He said having seen all the teams that came through, it was clear the Tides were the best team by far.

I'm in the similar boat. If they play early, I can catch most of it, but probably the last inning or so between soundcheck and our 8pm gig. If it's a 7pm game, I can only see a few innings and can maybe pause it on my phone or iPad and watch while the closing band plays The game, if needed, on the 13th is one I will have to watch when it's over due to more gigs.

Yeah, I would not get Chris Davis mad.

It makes me wonder if Aubrey Huff's little show, ie. his golden thong was part of his Orioles daily routine. As for as offending anyone, I can honestly say my eyes would have suffered irreparable harm. But with all of this Bauer bad boy talk, I wonder how Hyde would have handled this Baur tantrum on the field?

I have no idea if this portion of The Oriole Way is part of their equation anymore, but in line with what you said (and I agree), he would not have passed the "attitude" part of the evaluation. From "Pitching, Defense, and the 3 Run Homer" which is my current reading.

The Yard should have a "Run the Bases Like JJ Hardy Night" at some point in the playoffs.

Does anyone know if the games on the network channels be streamed later, ie. after they are over on MLB-TV? If they were principally on MLB-TV, that's the usual thing and I can start a game late. Like an idiot, I booked 3 gigs I can't get out of back in spring when I thought I'd be able to steer clear of some. But I will miss games on the 8th (possibly) and definitely the 7th and 13th due to playing with the band. I know I could watch regular Fox and Apple exclusives on MLB-TV after those games were over.
