I was watching as it happened. Unbelievably gruesome scene. They did not do a replay but the one time. Hard to tell if it was his nose or his eye or eyebrow that was the wound. I was concerned no one was going to try to stop the bleeding. It was taking a long time for someone to come with a towel. He was bent over and it was streaming out. Maybe they didn't see it.

And basically had to get 28 outs to make 27 stick.

My wife was doing her Zoom telecommuting work and I had to drag her to the screen porch to watch the last two innings with me. I think she sat down right after Mancini hit the 3 run homer. She was really into it. It kind of made me nervous!

Interestingly, not much. The most talked about play was a wild pitch. Go figure.

In my neighborhood, bouncing one off the top of the fence for a HR counted for two runs. With the phantom base runner in extra innings, why not this, too?

I've had great success going all the way back to the beginning of last season with MLB-TV with the Private Internet Access (PIA) VPN switched on. Several others on OH are using this as well after discussing it privately. Someone recommended it either in '19 or early last year. I can use it both on my iPad and my Mac. I watch TV with a Mac-Mini hooked up to a large screen HDTV. So I'm watching it with Chrome as my browser. I choose The Bahamas and so far none of the games have been blacked out for me (I'm in Durham NC where the O's are blacked out). Sometimes it helps to log out of the MLB website and then log back in prior to a game if I've been watching anything on the Chrome browser with the VPN off. Here's a screen shot of me multi-tasking with Orioles Hangout on my Safari browser while watching the O's game on Chrome. I got fancy late last year and hooked up a second HDTV to my Mac-Mini, so I dragged the O's game over to the 2nd screen.

A friend of mine who used to co-own Orpheus Records in DC told me once that Mike Curb (who ran MGM, but later had Curb Records, too) came in to his store and asked if he had any Curb Records. My friend directed him to the bins where he may find the appropriate acts but added, "Why in the world are you looking for anything associated with Curb? He's an a-hole." About twenty minutes later, the woman who was with him came to the register to pay for the LPs and CDs and the credit card read "Mike Curb". It was Mrs. Curb at the register and (I presume) Mike Curb who asked where the records were.

I think my sis had the 3rd album. But the song I dug (and still holds up) is Crazy Horses. I think Jay sang lead or split the duties with Donny usually, but this was the bassist on a really growly lead vocal. I always thought the older brother looked just like Jimmy Page.
