Well if he’s pronating his wrist a lot it could theoretically put stress on the lat as his body tries to get the arm back to the midline after pronation, but I’d think this would more affect the smaller muscles in the arm and shoulder. Again, I think I’m just being paranoid. Very pumped to watch the kid flourish.

Fair point but re: age differences between Adley and Manny. I’d still like to lock him up because I think he can be an elite first baseman if it eventually comes to that. Or he could end up having yadier Molina or pudge Rodriguez longevity behind there. We don’t know, but I want to find out with him in an orioles uniform.

He was. Definitely rose up draft boards a ton during his Senior year and big draft time he and Druw Jones were seen pretty evenly.

Absolutely great time yesterday. Also couldn’t get into pickles but the block party across the street was very fun and much more tame. The atmosphere in the stadium was electric. The huge Baker K and then when Felix came in it went up even more. You could tell our pitchers were feeding off it. I will say that concessions were understaffed as many of the kiosks were closed in the 300’s section and it led to some pretty long lines. I’m guessing they ran into staffing issues due to game being moved and many people being unavailable yesterday as opposed to when it was originally scheduled. But overall, what a day.

Love this thread and all the suggestions! I’ll add: go see a show at Everyman Theatre. It’s right near where Alewife used to be. Local, professional theatre that does really great, thought-provoking work.

This aged well.

If Al is there to watch the game, I’d say decent.
