Seems like June is the date we start to promote talent at AAA. We secure the 7th year of control and we have enough data to see who’s legit/not just a great streak. Guys like Vavra, Ohern and McKenna are in danger.

With Givens and Tate coming back, who gets sent down from the bullpen? Perez who is slumping is out of options.

I wonder who they promote first Basallo or Willems if both are hitting well? Or who moves to 1B?

McKenna seems unchallenged as the 4th OF, due to his ability to play CF. Is Haskin adequate? I think everyone is tired of McKenna at this point.

Also, their other #1 pick, Casey Mize, is not looking the ace they envisioned. A poor draft or wrong pick can set a team back.

In most photos next to other players, he looks nothing like his listed 6’1 height. He’s probably 5’10-5’11 max. I do wonder why players exaggerate their size.

Anybody see his readings on how hard he threw? Better stuff than Dean?

Several have suggested food vendors near Pickles Pub. The food prices at the park are one of the highest in MLB. On top of that - the food/customer service is pretty average/poor.

Never been sold on Mountcastle, the OBP/Walks hasn't improved, which makes it difficult to overlook the strikeouts and so-so defense.

Just need Mountcastle to buy in. Dude barely walks.

I don’t get why Vavra is still with the team. I would rather replace him with Ortiz when Urias is ready.

DL doesn’t seem durable enough to reach 5 innings and his control hasn’t improved. Maybe at some point, they move him to the bullpen.

Curious, if he’s hitting mid 90’s now.

He did get divorced awhile back and had to sell his mansion for a lose.

Are any of you collecting these for fun or are you expecting them to grow in value?

Looking back, I thought Adley and Bobby Witt were neck to neck (couldn’t go wrong with either one). Witt would been my selection based on age, pedigree and his ability to play SS. Still early, but I’m glad someone else made that decision. However, Witt did have red flags- being a year old than most seniors, strikeouts and questions about his hitting.

How come a non-profit newspaper outlet can afford to hire quality sports writers to write O's related stories, but the Sun can't (or fired them)? In regards to Irvin, I think he will right the ship, will be around 4.00-4.40 ERA by the end of the year.

To keep prospective, Manny didn’t hit many homeruns in the minors.

Not having the rocket arm, average runner and questions about him being quick/athletic enough as he moves up. With Gunnar and others, I don’t see him sticking there.

Had a nice sophomore year hitting 24 homeruns, but his defensive home is 1B/DH. He was worth the pick, but surprise they didn’t grab someone more athletic/higher ceiling.
