Rosenthal Says Players Are Not Happy With Peralta's New Contract

Any significant changes will be driven by the players going forward. For those who don't do PEDs it must be extremely frustrating to witness how well cheating pays off. I'm sure there are a great majority of players that do not want to turn their bodies into science experiments in order to compete in MLB (or any sport for that matter). All they want is a 'more' level playing field (I use 'more' because it always takes time for detection to catch up with PEDs) and an equal chance to get the big money

To some degree I see where Ziegler is coming from. But Peralta and most of the others admitted their guilt, took their punishments, sat out the 50 games, forfeited the associated dollars and then were reinstated back into the game. All as specified in the pact between the players and MLB. If the players and management can agree to put more teeth into the next agreement more power to them.
