OFFNY
o The White Sox are hoping that the acquisition of Todd Frazier will help stabilize a position that has been a chronic problem for the organization in recent years. Although Frazier has a modest career OBP of .321, he has power (35 HR's and 43 2B's last season), and decent speed on the base-paths (20 SB's and 13 SB's over the last two seasons, respectively.) Defensively, he led the National League in errors last year (19), although he was proficient in putouts (2nd in the NL), assists (2nd in the NL), and double plays turned (4th in the NL.) MDtransplant757
We already had Norris on the team, and he was coming off of a good season in 2014.I think that a more apt comparison would be the Grant Balfour situation in the 2013-2014 off-season. Balfour's health (like Latos') had been in question ...... and he subsequently crashed and burned in Tampa Bay, with the Rays. Thanks for the post, though. Not too many folks besides myself posts very often in the White Sox' annual threads. No problem. Have family up there who are White Sox fans.
