Why Britton Didn't Pitch

I am sure I will get flamed for this, but I am a believer in the book when it comes to using your closer on the road. We lost home field advantage fair and square. When you are on the road in a tie game, you are going to need to get six outs minimum to win. Either Britton-Ubaldo or Ubaldo-Britton. Either way, Ubaldo needs to get at least three outs. It is better to have him pitch first to see if you need him for another inning.

There is a slight chance that Britton has a shutdown inning, we score, and you can extend him. But the odds are against it. The chances of getting the lead are 27%. You have to assume you are not going to immediately get the lead and the game is going to continue.

Most of you calling for Buck's head wanted him to go to Zach in the 9th or even earlier. If he had done that, Zach would not have even been available in the 11th.

I do think it should have been Bundy rather than Ubaldo, and I don't know why Reimold was in the game offensively or defensively.
