This may be splitting hairs, but I sure hope that the Yankees' manager got the attention of the umpire before the umpire started staring into the dugout. A 30-second delay after a close play is fine with me ........ walk to the front of home plate, lean over and dust it off with your brush, walk back to your umpires' position behind the plate, etc.  But I don't like the notion of an umpire immediately staring into a team's dugout right after a close play without the team itself (the manager and/or one of his coaches) initiating some type of correspondence first. It seems a bit too influential for the umpire to start gawking at the team's dugout (without any prompting from the team itself) after a close play.
