Cabrera's control has just totally left him again. He came out throwing nothing but fastballs again. I just don't get the guy.

It seems like he totally loses it whenever something doesn't go his way. In this case, the phantom HBP.

Classic case of not thinking before throwing. Larish is a great fastball hitter so what do you do? Throw him a fastball right down the middle. Cabrera is an idiot BUT its the 1st inning and the O's are the comeback kings.

Cabrera is not smart enough to be a good "pitcher" and not athletic enough to be able to repeat his delivery. I think it's safe to say that Cabrera doesn't have the ability to "turn the corner." He's always going to be consistently inconsistent.

Aside from Guthrie, our starting pitching is absolute garbage right now.
