Great gesture from the club

My cousin is a diehard O's fan just like I am and this past Christmas he was mugged and hurt very badly and was in and out of the hospital since,didn't know if gonna make it at one point.

Flash forward to today and he still has trouble physically and emotionally as well.Lost his job also among other things.

Anyway,I took it upon myself to contact the club to see if something could be done for a fan who loves the club to get him out of the dumps if you will.

Well they got back to me yesterday and said to have him and a guest of his choice(️) come to a game this season free of charge and free accommodations as well.We are both very excited!

Angelos' are far from perfect owners and yes high chance just nothing to do with them in essence and someone else decided on it but still a great gesture.

Just a little update on this:

We told the club that we have decided to go to the June 15th game against Toronto. He decided on this more than I haha as 3 Doors Down(A favorite band of his) has a concert at Pier Six the night before so we are going to that also.

Might see some of you at the game!

Really really cool! I second that this club is second to none in this regard. My dad was battling cancer and to lift his spirits I reached out to the club to see if Joe Angel could talk some baseball with him. A week later they gave us his cell phone number to call and after arranging a time my dad was able to talk with Joe for an hour about all things O’s. My dad made it through his cancer treatment and still talks about that call every once and awhile. The Golden Rule is a powerful way of life and the Orioles live it in the way they treat their fans.
