I agree with you that that’s not one of his strongest lyrics, but the worst lyric ever written in the history of bad lyrics, is, “I am, I said, to no one there, and no one heard at all, not even the chair.“ When Mr. Diamond appears before the Lord, he’s going to have a bit of doing to talk his way out of that one. And for what it’s worth, the Edmund Fitzgerald was one of the biggest ships ever launched on the Great Lakes. -
I fully admit that my concerns are based entirely on game recaps and scouting reports. I’ve only seen him live a couple of times. But I’ve yet to see a glowing review of his defense on the infield dirt. But, the bat could be huge and they have to find room for him. Given the big arm, I “think” RF is a good choice. -
My view is, the game needs more offense, and if it can be generated by enforcing a true strike zone, I'm for it. I think major league pitchers will adjust and the increase in walks will be significant but not as big as would occur if they just ocntinued throwing balls in the same spots where they were previously getting incorrect calls. -
