I expected to see Vespi yesterday. Get him some time in a blowout game so he keeps other arms out and will be optioned when Webb gets back.

Depends on what you are looking for. To the average fan, today's game was not a good one. To an O's fan, it's almost the best it can be. If you are looking for drama, excitement, back and forth with some kind of walk off, then it's not the best. But if you are like me, and enjoy a laugher for the O's, then it was definitely great.

So much for a lefty shutting this lineup down.

I agree. I'm not that upset about Holliday starting in AAA, simply because he hasn't played there alot. I would have probably given the spot to Mayo.

So...I guess it's Westburg with Mateo at 2nd.

I know it may only be procedural, but having Bradish and Means on the 15 day DL is very encouraging.

As the season progresses, do you think it will be better to play Mullins or Cowser vs lefties?

Yeah, that right hand DH spot sucks, especially with Adley catching.

Do you think Adley doesn't catch opening day?

Who's our best option, if Adley is catching?

That's what happens when you become a top team. People claim your cuts. We used to do it alot.

What do you think happens with his free agency pending after this season? He gets an extension in season He gets resigned in the offseason He walks He gets traded mid season

So...we have 48 hours to add him to the roster or lose him? I think he becomes our long man in the pen and 6th starter for now.

Spring training wins mean nothing, but I would rather be winning that losing. Generally, I think the main thing to glean from this is our depth is better than some other teams.

I agree with these things, especially the pitching. We also don't have that "one" bat yet that strikes fear into the heart of other pitchers. Maybe Gunnar is that guy this year. I also worry about lineup decisions. With so many pieces that are similar in skill level, we could very well ride someone like Urias while he is slumping instead of bringing up someone like Mayo.

Change Mateo for Westburg and that's the every day lineup
