I've always hated elaborate celebrations. When a football DE sacks a QB and does a huge dance... when an NBA player dunks and screams/poses... when a slugger hits a no doubter and doesnt run right away flipping his bat... I think Urias and Mateo are a key piece in all of this. Perhaps they are either a part of a deal for pitching, or traded for whatever minor leaguers Elias can acquire. That should break the infielder logjam, yes?

I'd swap Adley and Basallo between 1B and C, keep them in the lineup. If that were to happen would the O's carry a third catcher? Is there any need for one?

This is what I think the result will be. Chicago insists on way too much and Elias correctly stands pat.

Perhaps I should have clarified. I would love to see Westburg get some reps at 1B to increase his versatility and have another option when it's time to let Mountcastle go.

Thanks GP! My only observation would be that Ortiz is too high on the depth chart 2B/SS. He seems to be the odd man out with Mateo and Urias still on the roster.

I honestly don't know what I would bet. I'd be hesitant to take a side until I know that Snell, Montgomery, Hader and and Bellinger stay out of the AL East.
