Agree with this. With that in mind doesn't that imply our chances of winning next year are better with Hays, Mullins, Santander in the outfield than Cowser/Kjerstad? The former have proven themselves, and at least one of the latter may never get to those levels.

I think if you get rid of Sandtander, Mountcastle and Mullins you take a step back next year no matter who replaces them. That may be OK for the long term, but people should be prepared for some regression if you remove your veterans from the lineup.

I do appologize for the insult in my post-game frustration. My perspective is that leading a team is as much about building a strong team chemistry as in-game decisions. Hyde has definitely done that. And while this team is talented, it has almost no experience. No one expected them to do what it has done, so dismissing the contribution of the manager is totally unfair.

That was beautiful. Exactly what we all hoped he was capable of. He may still have some ups and downs the rest of this season, but very excited to watch him pitching for us the next few years.

Agree with needing to prove himself in pen first before anointing closer. But I would def try this before DFA. And ASAP so we can see him for next couple weeks during reg season before having to make decision on playoff roster.

Agree. I don’t think you trade Westburg and Ortiz in the same trade. Trade one and keep one. Same with Cowser and Krstad.
