But Tingler is the Padres manager.  He shrugged off Machado being thrown behind and tossed his best young player under the bus.

Perhaps he’s de-escalating because they still play today and doesn’t want Tatis to get thrown at.

I heard him say that Tatis missed a sign.  Was there more “throwing him under the bus” language than that?

Tingler wasn’t the one insinuating that “those” guys don’t know how to play baseball the proper way that he was raised with.

It took 6 days.   As of this morning, Texas 3,362, Maryland 3,334.      Texas will leave Maryland in the dust now.

A little over a month later and TX has crossed over 10k deaths (10,396).  MD’s total stands at 3639.

Yes, TX has a larger population than MD, but it may also pass CA by the end of the month.

    Let's define the class:

    Tatis
    Soto
    Alonso
    McNeil
    Acuna
    Albies?
    Bichette
    Guerrero
    Biggio

We going to throw Robert and Adell in there?

Sure does seem like a lot of great young talent has come up the past couple years.   And I'm sure I missed a name or two.

Jeff McNeil?  I would say he’s too old.  swap him out with Torres.

I figured you were going to post this.

I'm curious if Covid had anything to do with Michael Ojo's death.

I wonder that too, though it’s not uncommon for young men who appear in great shape die from a heart related issue while in their basketball playing days or soon after.

Hank Gathers, Reggie Lewis, Pete Marovich, Robert Traylor, Conrad Macrae, Fab Melo, Jason Collier.

    Ojo had had COVID-19.

Even when they work... do they really work?

Mike Trout is the best most valuable player in baseball, but the Angels still suck

If that's because of a resource allocation problem then I say they should have let him walk

Do you think the Nationals regret the Scherzer deal?

I'm going with general wear.  He's been trending down for years now.  When the Giants didn't keep him it should have been a huge red flag for other teams.

He is getting looked at for back spasms.

He’s getting cut from my fantasy team, that’s for damn sure.

  7. Hear me out.  I watch tv through Hulu.  It recommended a show called Marrying Millions.  Yes, it is on Lifetime.  It’s about rich people dating poor people.  Well, this lady was dating her daughter’s friend.  It was Hamilton’s ex-wife.  She said her net worth is $10M, which is wild considering Hamilton signed a $75M deal.

    It’s a train wreck.
