It' looks to me like he'll pitch Tuesday and Sunday for Bowie, pitch Fri. 9.16 for Norfolk and if all goes well debut at home against Detroit Wed 9.21.
With Hall and Gunnar getting added to the Taxi squad it likely their the two. Personally I'm hoping both are added before the deadline tomorrow and Westburg and Zimmer get the call for when when rosters expand on the 1st. Our lineup would look so much better with Gunnar at 3rd and Westburg at 2nd.
That's my understanding as well. I'm hoping both get the call tomorrow before the deadline and then I'd like to see Westburg and Zimmerman get added when rosters expand to 28 sept 1. Wishful thinking I know.
That's what I thought. I know Hall is already a part of the 40 man, so that leaves Gunnar. I would think they would want Gunnar post season eligible, so he has to be added by 11:59 tomorrow night.
If he's not listed on the tides lineup or on the bench that's going to be pretty telling that he's being called up. I don't know but I don't think that's the way they want everyone to find out. An announcement would be more appropriate.
You have to think that Stowers and Henderson are on their way, but how much realistically will they help this year? It's most likely going to take some time for them to adjust and Stowers concerns me with the strikeouts.
A friend of mine that works for the O’s has started a rumor he’s heard they are moving to Tennessee Oct. 6 and that they will officially announce it within 48 hours. Has anybody else heard this?
I don't believe the Orioles to be as small a market team as the Rays but sure as hell not as big as the Yankees. The O's not under Elias as of now have spent money in the past. With Elias and Sig coming from Houston I believe that is the process we are following. Houston developed a lot of their pitching in house. In 2017 they signed Charlie Morton and at the deadline traded for Verlander who put them over the top.
Whose going to be our Charlie Morton and Justin Verlander next year?
I think Mike Clevinger and Sean Manaea would be two solid FA signings and if we wanted to go the trade route we got the pieces to get Lopez from the Marlins.
I think the experience of being on a team chasing a wild car spot even not getting everyday at bats is more valuable than everyday playing time in AAA so I voted yes!
So who comes off the 40 man for Stowers and whose place does he take on the Roster. I know Odor's stats aren't great but he has been great a club house guy and would like to see him finish the year out. Philips is more than likely here to stay so is it Mckenna or Nevin that get sent down? How will Stowers fit and get everyday at bats?
Where does Henderson and Westburg fit in this year? Would one of them replace Nevin on the roster? Would they be able to get enough playtime or is more valuable to keep them at Norfolk playing everyday?
