  1. I agree, good thing it's not the arm, but it's probably the end of his season
  2. I think that's more than Mancini alone would bring back, and why I'd like to see him packaged with a reliever. Santander should bring a similar return, maybe a little better because he isn't a rental.
  3. I agree, 0 chance it's accepted and I can't see him even being given the QO. Not a whole lot of options of places to send him outside the teams you mentioned, maybe the Twins, Mariners or Brewers, all 3 could use DH help, but not sure if any are looking for a bat.
  4. Zero chance Mancini would turn down a QO, and I honestly can't see Elias offering it to begin with. I still think Mancini will be dealt, just not sure it'll be to the Mets, although Peterson fits the controllable SP.
  5. I forgot about Vogelbach, I think he would affect Trey more than Naquin. Trey is an upgrade to both, but not sure the Mets would still be interested.
  6. I think 6-3 would be a good outcome as well, winning all 3 series 2-1 and putting us 4 games over .500.
  7. I think we're more likely to see Mancini, Lopez, Tate, Santander or maybe even Mullins moved to get that controllable starter this trade deadline. If we're talking prospects Mayo, Vavra, Ortiz, Diaz, & A Hall could be added to a deal or maybe a package built around Mayo.
  8. I wouldn't think it would affect it too much. I'd imagine most teams would want Trey as 1B/DH mostly, with an occasional OF game.
  9. A little update, but still no return date
  10. Same here, it's a nice little bonus for already having tickets
  11. Not sure if they've turned the corner just yet. I'm still not sure what to think of the pitching. Have they really improved this much or is it more the balls and short spring. The team has been fun to watch though, and excitement is building towards the call ups of Adley, Grayson and DL.
  12. I like it. It's good that it will only be used when tying the game or with the lead. I've never been a fan of celebrating when behind.
  13. As bad as McKenna has been would much rather it been Lakins or Owings.
  14. Last night was absolutely on the defense. Urias had plenty of time to make that throw and we would have been out of the inning. You can't give ML teams extra outs and expect to win ballgames. Another decent performance from the pitching staff wasted.
  15. 10 strikeouts through 4, unreal, but with this lineup maybe it's not
  16. I didn't see him grab his arm but did hear him yell after a pitch in the 2nd. Seemed more like his foot slipped, and lost his balance slightly.
  17. Krehbiel, Gillaspie, Odor, Bannon, Stewart could all go
  18. Nothing to really dislike about this trade. IMO Scott and Sulser aren't that hard to replace, and they didn't make the bullpen that much better. Guerrero and the pick alone are a decent return, not sure how much better of a deal we could have gotten if they got off to good starts.
  19. I could only imagine how disappointing/frustrating this has to be for Harvey. Hopefully at some point he can stay healthy, but it may never be in an Orioles uniform.
  20. I hope we never find out if there was a good one. Always sell high on releivers, way too much risk for something like this to happen, although I don't think anyone would have thought he'd be this bad after the deadline.
  21. Not surprising with Watkins, but man has Fry been lit up in August. Probably should have been moved at the deadline, not gonna have much value in the winter to move him then.
