  1. I'm guessing audio streaming uses less data than video streaming? About how much less? I'm poor and have a limited data plan (15 gigs).
  2. He may be further along at being "ramped up". Anyways, it doesn't really mean anything.
  3. Orioles Manager Brandon Hyde has tabbed journeyman Thomas Eshelman to take the bump in Sunday afternoon's Spring Opener at Ed Smith Stadium. https://www.masnsports.com/school-of-roch/2021/02/orioles-notes-and-quotes-from-todays-workout.html
  4. Not sure what to make of this short-term agreement. Maybe both parties are just waiting to see what the "new normal" will look like.
  5. 8.06 ERA last year. He'll probably make the opening day roster.
  6. I got a good feeling about Bannon. Don't know why. Just a gut feeling. I'm very analytic.
  7. How can there be ANY legitimate rankings of prospects this year after no minor leagues last year? It's a real "shot in the dark". More so than usual.
  8. Big-time negative PR hit if it were to happen.
  9. Better than nothing. That's about the most optimism I can muster for this signing.
  10. Very sad to hear this. Damned this pandemic.
  11. Patience my friend. The dumpster is still pretty full. We're looking for the "dregs" at the bottom.
  12. I think they'll do the 162 games, but limited butts in the seats for most of the season.
  13. Lets just rotate Martin and Valaika at SS and call it a day. We aren't in win-mode this season anyway.
  14. Lot of good discussion in this thread. It seems as though the discussion has focused more on "rebuild mode" than "sell mode". As the original poster, I just still have a "worrisome" feeling that the Orioles are not long for Baltimore. Are the Angelos sons really that committed to the city? I'm just asking?

  16. I hope Elias and Sig aren't outsmarting themselves. I would like to see a better product on the field this season. I don't see how adding a couple of "decent" free agents can harm the rebuild. Can it? Or are we keeping payroll down and not tying the franchise to a long-term stadium lease signs of something else?
  17. It's sorta "stadiums be damned". MLB obviously gave us the "middle finger" a couple years ago when it was our time to host the All-Star game. It seems to me as though MLB and the Orioles ownership don't have a very good relationship. Just my opinion.
  18. Just asking. How committed are the Angelos brothers to the city of Baltimore? Why have we not yet seen a new lease for Camden Yards? Why are we projected (by Sportrac) to have the 29th lowest team payroll for 2021? Why are we looking dead-eyed into yet another 100+ loss season? Are we on the brink of losing another Major sports franchise? Just asking.
