He was far lower on Grayson than every other prognosticator if I remember correctly.

The results, the four plus pitches which he commands, and the uptick in velo this season mainly. I too am not super knowledgeable about the other top guys, but there is industry buzz that Grayson has firmly put himself in that group, maybe at the head of it. That’s what I was basing my post off of. Should have cited a source, but there’s one a few posts back and there was another a couple days ago.

G-Rod is putting himself in the elite prospect class with Hunter Greene I think. Like top 10 in all of baseball. I hate how excited I am about him because…well…you know. But boy, the ceiling on this kid seems limitless.

Agree with pretty much all of this but Mora was way better than geriatric Vlad and Sammy. Look at his numbers. Melvin was legit.

This has been my stance. If we get this kind of package offered, we have absolutely no choice but to take it. It would make up for the criminally poor management of our last valuable trade assets and really, at least in theory, complete the prospect acquisition portion of our rebuild. Hate to wish for an injury, but the only way we’d get Abrams from SD is if they lose one or more starters and get desperate, I’d think. I imagine they see him as their CF of the future.
