  1. I pretty sure the majority on this board, will not agree with your assessment that Buck had more power than the GM, in playing the GM role.
  2. I do not know which is worse, what you wrote, or you actually believe the bullcrap you type
  3. Im okay with not trying to play large market. Im not okay playing small market, when this market is clearly mid-market and been that way for decades.
  4. Just one of your many posts that are clueless.
  5. SG, some of your own comments have been made at you, over the years.
  6. losing faith in Elias to work his plan. seams like every decision is made with $$$ in mind. I didnt mind blowing up the team and salary, no reason to pay 165+ million for a last place team that you are going to do a full blown rebuild. But, at the point, they are playing .500 ball, and they have some good pieces in place, you are still selling, instead of buying.
  7. none of know, what if any handcuffs are placed on Elias at this point in time.
  8. right now, not too sure what type of leadership we have in charge.
  9. Nice Post. My problem with 1. response and return. I might be in the minority here, but I didnt like the return for Trey or Lopez. So its hard to image, they were expecting too much for Santander
  10. I cant tip my cap, either, not impressed with any of the guys we got in return. I thought the plan was, dump the high salaries underperforming talent, draft, and then once those pieces start playing well with each other, they would bring in pieces to fill in the holes, and move forward.
  11. Trading Lopez for uninspiring return, doesnt send me the right warm fuzzy feelings.
  12. Im bummed more about Trey as a fan favorite, and I get he really isnt the long term answer here. I think this team got lucky, by playing over their heads. Yes, Elias gets some credit for it. When do they stop just selling pieces?
  13. and where will we be without him? My comments is also based, on a opinion, this is just one, and that another player or two, will be dumped.
  14. Being a WC team for a bit of time, was more fun, than we have had in the last few years, sad to wave bye to that hope.
  15. Sorry, I dont like the return, one is damaged goods. 2 single-a arms, going to take a while for them to progress and "maybe" make it up to the big leagues.
  16. The one thing you are forgetting about with the Miller trade. Detroit wanted him and needed him badly as they had no bullpen. With Andy, the Tigers might have won it all. Edrod turned into a very good pitcher, but he was still putting it together at AA, and most likely the trade woke him up to maybe taking coaching advice. Hindsight shows that the pitchers they thought they had higher on the depth carts, and TOR, all busted out as TORs.
  17. Trey isnt the faster player either, pretty shocked, he has an inside the park homer on his resume.
  18. This is an franchise owned by clowns and clearly have no clue on their public image.
  19. True, only since 2012, so just ten years, thought it had been longer, but I say it still has had an impact.
  20. Using your criteria, then you need to add Rick Dempsey to the list. His restaurant has impact OPACY.
  21. Agree to disagree. Pretty sure that means, players who played and had an impact on the Orioles during the OPACY ERA.
  22. that doesnt count and you know it.
  23. Sorry but Boog never played at OPACY
