Everyone I talk to knows the remaining schedule is brutal. Really brutal, why we need to bring up reinforcements before September.

So we sell our closer & emotional leader and the GM flies to tell the team despite these moves, he fully supports the playoff push and is there to help. However, Nevin remains on the roster (and was replaced in the fifth inning the other day) and Stowers just continues to rake at Norfolk (hitting a grand slam just yesterday). I love the job this GM has done but this smells of gas lighting. What am I missing?

I am scared to death to post anything critical on here but seriously, what is going on?

Yeah, look at the schedule for the remaining of the season, it’s brutal. If they get in, it will be truly impressive. I think we need Stowers, Gunnar & Grod for that to happen realistically.

Bowie is up 18-1. Cowser raking. If we don’t ever trade for players, how are we going to have room for all these folks? It would be nice to see some of these prospects moved for starting pitching.

Agreed and I think everyone agrees Odor shouldn’t be playing full time at this point, but people seem to really hate the guy. He’s helped the team out this far and deserves a bit more respect IMHO.

Wow, it is absolutely terrific news Odor is taking grounders at 3b, hope it goes well. I’d absolutely love Odor on this team as utility /PH, I think that is an ideal role for him honestly. Love him and his ability in the clutch. Who goes for him? Assuming Nevin. Is he DFA-Ed?

I mean nothing personal to him; I am sure he is great guy but he’s awful.
