Drabek just has great stuff. I see why he was so highly rated coming out of high school.

He does, but he's not very consistent with location. We've bailed him so far by swinging away early in the count. He will put men on if you give him the chance.

I thought they would have went with the curve.

Poor location and now he looks like he lost his release point.

I think Palmer has it - he's not staying closed which affects his release point.

I'm not overly-impressed by Paulino's game-calling.

Looks like Matusz has much better command over his breaking stuff today than his fastball and change.

Wieters used to use Matusz's off-speed stuff to get him back on track. He stays closed on those more consistently than on his FB.

Yeah, maybe it's mostly just the FB that Matusz is having trouble with today. Matusz just threw a perfectly located change up down and away to fan Davis.
