According to this MLB.com article, it looks like the Baltimore Orioles have yet again done it again and missed a bargain free agent who could have powered us singlehandedly to a wild card berth. His full stats are here.

The sad part is that we signed him to a guaranteed major league contract last year while the Reds signed him to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training this year. Between that and our lovefest for Pirates castoffs last year had to be one of the worst years in terms of player signings that I've ever seen.
